Why “Hybrid Vigor"?

A hybrid is the product of cross-breeding two different types of organisms, which usually results in a combination of traits from the parents. Sometimes, however, the resulting offspring is bigger, stronger and healthier than either parent is, or has new and different traits that are NOT found in either parent.
That’s what hybrid vigor (also known as heterosis) is all about, blending things that are different and coming up with something that is more than the sum of its parts.

We want Hybrid Vigor Studios to be all about bringing together widely disparate people and ideas and seeing what emerges from that cross-pollination.

Aside from board games, his hobbies include writing, sewing, dancing, fencing, juggling, raising rabbits, and bothering his partners and their partners with his outlandish ideas.
